Shoppers want one in every colour
An eagle-eyed shopper has spotted a bag in Primark that is a dead ringer for a £3,140 designer bag by celeb-adored brand Bottega Veneta. While the original Bottega Veneta Padded Cassette handbag costs more than £3,100, Primark's is considerably cheaper, and will save fashion fans a whopping sum of £3,133 - or 449 times less.
Primark’s Double Weave Crossbody Bag was first spotted by TikTok user primarkxo, who compared it to Bottega Veneta’s pricey Padded Cassette. The Primark version is described as the perfect way to “add some texture to your accessories collection.”The online description reads: “We’re loving textured accessories this season and this bag just hits the mark! Featuring four stunning colourways, this bag is fashioned with a woven texture and a cross body strap for comfortable carry.
The Bottega Padded Cassette is quite similar in look and shape, and also offers a wide variety of colours. The designer bag is described as being a padded intreccio leather cross-body bag made from 100% lambskin in Italy.
