Police in New York City said Saturday a woman is fighting for her life and a man was badly wounded in a shooting outside of a Home Depot in Brooklyn.
Authorities said the shooting occurred shortly after 12 p.m. Saturday in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, where an unknown number of assailants opened fire on the couple.Neither victim was identified. Both were taken to hospitals, where police said the woman was listed in critical condition.
“‘The guy in the parking lot — he wanted my parking spot,’” Yadly Pena recalled the male victim saying, according to the newspaper. “‘I gave it to him and he started shooting at us!’”
