A Burnley fan has been arrested after performing what appeared to be a Nazi salute in the direction of Tottenham fans.
Match day stewards were alerted following complaints from Spurs fans, with the two visiting supporters removed from the stadium.The Metropolitan Police subsequently confirmed that two men had been arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.In a statement on social media, Spurs said: "The club can confirm two visiting supporters have been identified and arrested following discriminatory gestures at today’s match.
"This is now a police investigation and, collectively, we will work with Tottenham Hotspur, Met Police and Lancs Police on this matter."
