Shaughna Phillips details birth story with emergency c-section after 2-day labour
The Love Island star opened up on her Instagram story, revealing she was advised to have an epidural – telling fans it is "the best thing ever invented".
"I then went 4 hours in Labour with just gas and air and when I was next examined I hadn't dilated anymore. The pain was manageable but when I realised I hadn't dilated any more I felt so deflated." The star went on to say that despite starting to push, her baby girl's heart rate started to skyrocket – and had to have an emergency c-section.
"I then went in for emergency forceps but as soon as they put them on her head she flipped around so they had to stop that and go ahead with the emergency c section."
