Shaq On Kevin Durant: Should Make It Work, But Easier To Ask For Trade - RealGM Wiretap
Shaquille O'Neal was a recent guest on The Rich Eisen Show. O'Neal was candid was asked for his opinion on Kevin Durant's trade request from the Brooklyn Nets.
"When you put a house together, you should live in it. You were the architect. You hired another architect. And now the other architect is in Philadelphia. You, as a leader, should make it work. But when you don't want to make it work, I guess you go buy another house. You know he's probably trying to get to a contender. It's easier that way."
When asked if the Boston Celtics should trade Jaylen Brown in a package for Durant, O'Neal answered"No." After saying he believes in the Celtics young nucleus, O'Neal reaffirmed that they should not trade Brown for Durant by saying,"Hell no!".
