Buena Vista Horace Mann K-8 Community School in San Francisco has asked parents to tell their children not to drink from fountains at school after lead levels in the water were found higher than normal.
The email to parents comes roughly a week after the school discovered higher-than-normal levels of lead and arsenic in the soil of the campus courtyard, . San Francisco Unified School District told the Standard that it would be testing the water at Buena Vista Horace Mann in response to parental concerns heard at a community meeting last week.BEST OF SFGATE
