San Francisco Giants manager Gabe Kapler said he needed “some time to process, like a lot of other people who are hurting right now.”
SAN FRANCISCO – Giants manager Gabe Kapler said Friday he was still processing the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to strip away women’s constitutional rights to an abortion but added his thoughts were with those who were deeply disappointed by the ruling.
Kapler said he spent a majority of Friday talking with people he trusted – inside and outside the Giants organization – about the ruling, “people who are deeply impacted by this decision. “The way we’ll handle it is by showing that we have all the conversations necessary leading up to the day and trust that those conversations will lead to the full-fledged support of our players and staff,” Kapler said at the time.
