” She went to police and the hospital shortly after the incident occurred to report it, but would not reveal her attacker’s name or the location it took place. Mayorga’s lawsuit said she feared public humiliation for identifying Ronaldo. Las Vegas investigators could not proceed with the case at that point, and closed it. The case was reopened at Mayorga’s request in 2018. Her lawyer told CNN she was inspired by the #MeToo movement to come forward.
