The Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after the female pet was discovered in the close of a property on Argyle Street on February 20.Elizabeth Lindsay, Scottish SPCA inspector, said: “The cat is a female tabby and white cat.“She was taken to our veterinary clinic where she was put to sleep on veterinary advice due to the extent of her issues and to prevent any further suffering.
If anyone recognises the cat, or has any information, please call the Scottish SPCA’s confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.
