Sergio Perez’s Red Bull Drive ‘under Threat’ With F1 Rising Star Tipped To Replace Him, Pundit Claims

Both Christian Horner and Dr Helmut Marko have stated clearly on the record that Perez is not under any pressure in losing his Red Bull seat, but the pundits watching on from the sidelines are continuing to paint a different picture. Herbert went on to single out four drivers who he thinks would be a better match for Verstappen, with Norris in particular highlighted by the three-time F1 race winner.

“It would add positivity to the team and I think he is more than capable of being able to deal with that position.”The continued ‘uncertainty’ surrounding Perez is a result of a Formula 1 season which is struggling for storylines. Whilst some of Perez’s performances this season have been worthy of criticism, he is a driver who should be in absolutely no danger of losing his Red Bull seat any time soon.
