A court in Thailand has acquitted four national park employees, including a senior official, of the kidnapping and murder of an Indigenous rights activist who disappeared under suspicious circumstances more than nine years ago.
Chaiwat Limlikitaksorn, a former chief of Kaeng Krachan National Park in the western Phetchaburi province, arrives at The Central Criminal Court of Corruption and Misconduct in Bangkok to hear his verdict in his trial, Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023.
