plans on taking full advantage. Stevenson recently spoke exclusively with the Senior Bowl and Draft Network to discuss his motivation for accepting his invitation to compete in Mobile, Alabama.
Tyrique Stevenson: I was actually at home training. I was very excited, but I was humbled more than anything. It’s an honor to have Jim Nagy and the Senior Bowl recognize my talents. I’ve been watching the Senior Bowl since I was a little kid. I’m looking forward to the experience. I never thought I’d be a part of it. I feel humbled and blessed more than anything.Tyrique Stevenson: It’s another opportunity for me to showcase my God-given abilities on the football field.
JM: Are there any players in particular that you’re looking forward to competing with and against at The Senior Bowl? Tyrique Stevenson: It really doesn’t matter to me. Whatever a team needs from me, I’m always going to put my best foot forward. I feel comfortable playing in multiple schemes. I do love playing man coverage though . We played a lot of man coverage at Miami. We felt like we could match up with anybody. We thought we could run with everybody and I agreed with that assessment. We played a lot of man coverage.
JM: You sure did. What can you accomplish at the Senior Bowl that you can’t at other pre-draft events?
