In the midst of promoting her new song this week, “Single Soon,” the singer/ actor revealed that she had recently broken her hand and needed surgery. Gomez, 31, confirmed her unfortunate injury underneath a“Broke my hand and had surgery,” Gomez wrote in a comment. “I don’t care about selling anything. I’m just happy to make music with my friends.”
While fans were curious about what happened to Gomez, she revealed this week on the KOST 1035 radio program,“I wish I had like, a really cool story that I saved someone's life or something,” Gomez said on the show. “I was in a long dress, it was a summer dress, and I was walking from my car to my house and tripped.”
Despite the cause of the injury being a mundane accident, Gomez pointed to her hand and added, “This is not fun.” The radio host then noted that it's a good thing she didn't break her teeth, to which Gomez responded, “Yes, that's what the doctor said.”actor shared some glamorous selfies via Instagram Story on Friday, showing off her new cast, which she paired with a cozy grey outfit.“Single Soon” comes as a preview for her next album, according to Gomez.
