Selena Gomez opened up about her own struggles with depression and anxiety.
"[Therapy is] amazing. It’s just hard," she said. "One of my friends asked, you know, I want to start going to therapy, [and I said,] 'It’s good, just tell me how your first experience goes.' And she’s like, 'I don’t really know, and I just didn’t really like it.
' And I said to her, 'You have to just give it a month because you can’t go in and do that, and it’s hard for people to open up,'" Gomez continued, adding, "But I think that it’s just one of the most important things to get to know yourself. Not saying everyone in the world has to do it…but I do think that it’s helped me understand myself and my childhood a lot better.
