A suspect allegedly breaking into a vehicle near University Park fatally shot a security guard who confronted him before driving away Friday afternoon, Dallas police say.at Preston Center West, near Westchester Drive and Luther Lane, and cautioned residents to avoid the area. The city said the suspect fled in a gold Toyota Camry.
