The Kraken will now play the Dallas Stars in Round 2, with the winner of that series to face either the Vegas Golden Knights or the Edmonton Oilers. All scoring occurred in the second period, with Oliver Bjorkstrand the sole scorer for the Kraken and Mikko Rantanen scoring for the Avalanche.
