As more data and evidence comes in, it becomes clearer that Trump, his minions in Congress, his inner circle, and the MAGA mob were involved in a plot to overthrow our government.
On June 23, 2022 the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot held its fifth hearing. A previous hearing documented the Proud Boys, a well-known white supremacy militia group, did not attend Donald Trump’s rally at the Ellipse.
At 10 a.m. on Jan. 6, 2 hours before “Stop the Steal” rally began, the Proud Boys walked up to and around the U.S. Capitol building, casing out the building. Around 1 p.m. the MAGA mob, after being incited by Trump and his acolytes, show up at the police barricades, where the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, another white supremacy militia, are already in place. After some shouting, the two militias lead the crowd in knocking down the barricades. By 2 p.m.
