Karen Murray's pay will be £100 lighter this week but she says some NHS pals are much worse off because of Unison's three days of industrial action
A hardworking NHS worker will lose a chunk of her wages this week because she needed to swap shifts to look after her children on strike days.
Karen, from East Kilbride, explained: “Essentially I have lost over £100 wages this week because of the strikes. If they go on we will struggle. We just makes end meet as it is. A lot of my friend circle are in the same boat. She added: “There are a lot of people at the school who get free school lunches and I don’t know if they will be subsidised for these days and that will mean three breakfasts and lunches per child.
