A little girl has told her heartbroken mum that she “no longer cares” about her future after school bullies made her life hell. Traumatised Orla Cameron told of her fears about being attacked in the playground and why she never wants to return to school.
She has been at home since and is refusing to go back to school because she is terrified of being attacked again. Orla said: “The boys are really mean and I don’t want to go back to school. “When I jumped the fence, two adults were chatting nearby and when they saw the boys running towards me they just looked away. I don’t feel protected at school.”
She considered sending her to another local school but it’s full so there are no obvious alternatives. Rachel said: “Orla got attacked by four boys two weeks ago but nothing was done about it. “But she is missing out on her education while the ones that did it are still in school. Orla used to be the life and soul of the party but now she is timid and quiet.”
