Just months before at the start of the season the Gorebridge team had their dugout trashed.

A Scottish football club has hit out after careless vandals torched a shipping container on the grounds in a second attack targeting the club.

In August, just months before at the start of the season, the Gorebridge team also had their dugout trashed. Speaking to Edinburgh Live, assistant manager Ben Kettrick said: "It’s frustrating again to be subject to mindless vandalism after such a positive day for the club that looks to give back to our community."

The club were promoted to the East of Scotland First Division last season and had been making the most of life in a new division, but the damage to their Newbyres Park ground has left a sour taste all around.
