A Scots family have been left devastated after their teenage son died in a collision with a car
Billy Lardner, 16, was struck by a Honda Civic near Bournemouth Airport, Christchurch, while he was walking home from work on June 30. He was pronounced dead at the scene.Tyrone Franklin appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and driving without valid insurance.
Billy's devastated parents Anna and Andrew said his death had left "a hole in our heart that we will never fill" as they paid tribute to their "funny, friendly and happy" son. "Twelve of Billy's school friends have ordered a Rangers top to wear with his name on the back and the number 16 to remember him."
