There will be no direct rail services from Glasgow to Aberdeen and Inverness.
TRAIN passengers will face significant disruption this weekend due to a yellow weather warning.It is in place until 12pm on Sunday, October 29.
As a result, speed restrictions will be in place and there will be no direct ScotRail services between the Central Belt and Inverness or Aberdeen from the start of service on Friday, October 27 until Sunday.This means there are no direct services between the Central Belt and Aberdeen and Inverness. Customers travelling between Edinburgh or Glasgow and Aberdeen/Inverness will need to change at Perth or Dundee .
The train operator will be running more localised shuttle services to keep customers moving which will see services operating between Aberdeen and Dundee and between Perth and Inverness.This is due to the heavy rain being forecast in areas which already have high water levels and saturated ground after Storm Babet.
