TRAIN operator ScotRail has warned disruption to services could last until Sunday due to the impact of Storm Babet.ScotRail said it is taking longer than expected for engineers to inspect routes for damage due to the impact of the weather.
Other routes across the network are still being impacted by precautionary speed restrictions, meaning services may be subject to delay or cancellation.He added: “We want to thank customers for their continuing understanding as we make all possible efforts to inspect routes for damage, before reopening them when it is judged safe to do so. We know the impact the withdrawal of some train services has on customers, but our first priority is always to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
