The tax holiday, which runs from Aug. 26 to Sept. 4, will waive New Jersey’s 6.625% sales tax on a long list of supplies, including pens, notebooks, art supplies, text books, computers and sports equipment. Clothing and shoes are already exempt from sales tax in the Garden State.
