School apologises for threatening pupils with detention if they didn’t donate to Red Nose Day fund
Parents were told children who did not pay to wear non-uniform at Livingstone Academy in Bournemouth on Red Nose Day would be held back in detention.
Headteacher Dr Kimberly Elms has since apologised for causing 'undue anxiety'. A follow up email confirmed that students would not have to pay to take part
