The iconic 1983 film Scarface is returning to theaters this year to celebrate its 40th anniversary, with Fathom Events confirming the news.
The Al Pacino-led film will return later this month, when the classic returns to theaters nationwide on Sunday, November 12 at 3pm and 7pm local time, and then once again on Wednesday, November 15, at 7pm local time.One of the most referenced films of all time
Originally released in 1983, Scarface is directed by Brian De Palma, and stars Al Pacino as Tony Montana. Alongside Pacino, the film also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Steven Bauer, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, and Robert Loggia. The film itself is loosely based on the 1929 novel of the same name, and serves as a loose remake of the 1932 film. Since its release, Scarface has been cited as one of the most influential films of all time, and one of the greatest gangster movies ever made. It has been referenced heavily in pop culture since its premiere, and is one of the original cult classics of the 80s.

One of them found it on the sun-washed avenues of Miami…wealth, power and passion beyond his wildest dreams. He was Tony Montana.
