Saudi Arabia has restored 50% of production lost in Saturday’s attacks, according to its oil ministry
Saudi Arabia will soon restore most of its oil output and fully recover within weeks, the country’s oil ministry said Tuesday, seeking to calm global markets reeling from twin attacks on its largest oil facilities.
Newly-appointed Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said the kingdom is already supplying oil to its customers at pre-attack levels and that normal production levels will return by the end of September. It has restored 50% of production lost in Saturday’s attacks, Prince Abdulaziz said.
