Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens has purchased ThornCreek Winery & Gardens – located about six miles away – and plans to rebrand ThornCreek as The Orchid House Winery.
ThornCreek will be rebranded as The Orchid House Winery, Sapphire Creek ownership said in a press release.
The Orchid House will be open for dinner Thursday to Saturday, will accommodate events and host a members club - the Never Ordinary Bourbon Society . As part of the acquisition, Tap Root Hospitality Group was formed as parent company of the businesses. Kathleen Birkel Dangelo is Tap Root president.The Orchard House is located at 155 Treat Road, Aurora. Sapphire Creek is at 16965 Park Circle Dr., Chagrin Falls, six miles north of The Orchard House.Like wine?
