SAN MATEO – A 26-year-old man was injured in a shooting Friday morning in San Mateo, police said.
The shooting was reported just before 1 a.m. in the first block of 37th Avenue, the San Mateo Police Department said in a statement.An investigation revealed the shooting was an “isolated and targeted incident,” police said. The shooting is under investigation, police said, adding that more information will be released as it becomes available.
