A pedestrian died shortly after a hit and run collision in San Jose Friday morning, according to police.
A suspected hit and run collision left a pedestrian dead near Cataldi Park in San Jose early Friday morning, authorities said.
The San Jose Police Department received a call regarding a crash in the area of Morrill Avenue and Knights Bridge Road at 5:39 a.m. Police said an unknown vehicle struck a woman before fleeing the scene.Units are currently investigating a hit and run traffic fatality in the area of Morrill Av and Knights Bridge Rd.The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
