The rider was injured June 15 on Montague Expressway, and died June 24, police say.
SAN JOSE — A motorcyclist has died from injuries in a crash from earlier this month in North San Jose, police said.
The crash was reported at 10:38 p.m. on Montague Expressway near East Trimble Road, according to San Jose police. An initial investigation found that the rider was eastbound on Montague just past Trimble when he lost control of his 2011 Harley-Davidson while entering the driveway of a parking lot. He was initially stabilized at a local hospital, but he died from his injuries June 24, police said. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office has identified him as 61-year-old Richard Anthony Lucas of San Jose.
