A South San Francisco man died Wednesday, two days after being stabbed in San Francisco’s Mission District, the police said.
Frank Chavez, 27, was attacked around 12:25 a.m. Monday at Potrero Avenue and Mariposa Street. Police responded, and the victim was taken to a hospital, where he died.
No arrest has been announced in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Police Department’s tip line at 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” at the start of the message.
