For three years, the San Diego Section Individual Championship eluded Pellouchoud. Not this year, though, as he beat Adan Dorros of Bishop’s 6-3, 6-4 to take home the title. Pellouchoud also won his two matches in the Open Division Team competition, leading CCA to the championship. To top his season, he won his two matches in the Southern California Regionals as the Ravens beat Irvine University for the title. Bound for Washington State, Lundgren set a San Diego Section record in winning the 100-yard breaststroke at the Section Championships, clocking 1:00.96. She also won the Division I 200 IM, was part of the winning 200 medley relay team and the 400 freestyle relay team that placed second. She went on to claim the State championship in the 100 breaststroke, going 1:00.61 in the finals.
