For the first time, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo will host a rodeo qualifier event in Uvalde in 2023.
Robin Jerstad /ContributorOrganizers said they are hosting the event in Uvalde in hopes that it will help the economy and businesses in the city, which is still dealing with theThe event will be open to all Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Women's Professional Rodeo Association card and permit holders, competing for a spot in the San Antonio Rodeo in February.With over 800 competitors, the preliminary competition will take place at the Uvalde County Fairplex from Monday, Jan.
Tickets are on sale now for $15 for the finals. Box seats and VIP seating will be available at a later date, the rodeo wrote.
