It may not have been the giant Mega Millions prize, but one San Antonio resident became an overnight millionaire after claiming a winning scratch ticket.

The anonymous winner purchased a top prize winning ticket worth $1 million from the Texas Lottery 500X scratch ticket. It was purchased at the Pik & Pak Food Mart at 1801 West Avenue in San Antonio.This was the first of four top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the game. Overall, the odds of winning any prize are one in 3.45 million, including break-even prizes.
