“Twenty-three game home undefeated streak is highly impressive,” SAFC head coach Alen Marcina said. “We did more than enough to get the three points. We accept the point and we will move on.” “We have multiple players that are great free kick takers, great penalty kick takers,” Marcina said. “We have our plan in place for who takes them.”
For 30 minutes, it looked like San Antonio’s home unbeaten streak would end at 22 games and 392 days. San Antonio got the equalizer in the 42nd minute when Parano fired a free kick from just outside the Lights 18-yard box that went beyond the reach of Diaz into the goal.
