The San Antonio Food Bank, which has given away millions of pounds of food in the last 40 years, is now helping thousands of Texas residents in need through the coronavirus pandemic.

Beatrice Ortiz was one of the first people in line, and the mother of three told ABC News she parked her car outside the dome at 4 p.m. Thursday. The distribution line didn't open until 10 a.m. local time. "During the corona it has been difficult. I don't let anybody out except me. If we have to go somewhere, it's just me.
