The new plaza aims to show a general audience how San Antonio leaders contributed to the nation’s labor movement. The poem, “So That Our Crossing May Never Be Obstructed,” begins with the second person “you” perspective and transitions into the first person “we” perspective, with the goal of uniting people across their different experiences.
