Great news for shoppers who are looking for ways to save money on their groceries and other purchases.
The supermarket says its Nectar Prices scheme will expand into even more product categories throughout the year. According to Sainsbury's CEO Simon Roberts, the new Nectar Prices program, which offers discounts to customers who scan their Nectar card at the checkout, is designed to give shoppers another reason to choose Sainsbury's and instil confidence in their shopping experience.
"As always, customers can collect and spend points with hundreds of brands, like Sainsbury’s and Argos, and how they spend these points is up to them. They can get money off their next shop or exchange them for rewards from any of Nectar’s partners," Roberts said.Those who don’t already have a Nectar card can access the Nectar Prices scheme by downloading the app and creating a Nectar account.
