If I told my doctor how much pasta I eat, he’d probably slap me. From a metaphorical, non-anatomical perspective , it occupies a large place in my heart. Going to the grocery store and buying hunks of Parmesan, obscure eggplants, and cured Italian meats is something I live for. But there are months where I foolishly choose to buy a shirt I can’t afford, months where an innocent trip to the movie theater devolves into a $43 buttered popcorn bender.
