The Gogglebox and X Factor star said it's 'time to come away'
Rylan Clark is putting some distance between himself and the limelight after his mum Linda suffered a "bad fall" while on holiday.
Linda, 71, who fans will know from her Celebrity Gogglebox appearances, had been on her "first holiday in years" with her 34-year-old son when she broke her arm and her leg. Linda, who has other health issues including Crohn's disease, needed to have surgery abroad.READ MORE: Gogglebox's Stephen and Daniel share 'café staff' update amid 'exciting plans'
And now the TV personality is taking some time out to focus on his mum. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday Rylan said: "Time to come away for a bit from here. Cheers everyone for your advice it’s greatly appreciated . X" Fans have wished him well in their replies. TL said: "You just take care of yourself and mumsy, we gotcha" [sic] while Anne said: "Family always comes first. Wishing your mum a speedy recovery".It comes after Rylan sought help from fans earlier this week. On Monday he said Linda had been home for four days but was still unable to access the next parts of treatments she needs in order to make a full recovery.
