A year into the war in Ukraine, Russian plywood is still being sold in the U.S., including by Menards, headquartered in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, a report says.

Two leading ethical labels, the Forest Stewardship Council and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification , also"blacklisted wood emanating from Russia and occupied Ukrainian territory," Earthsight says. The PEFC and theThe U.S., meanwhile, raised tariffs on Russian birch plywood, according to the report.
