I was lucky enough to play international field hockey for Great Britain, competing and winning Olympic gold in 1988 and bronze in 1984. Running was a key part of my training regime. I rediscovered my love of running in 2016 when I ran Boston. Running provides me with both a focus and an escape.

RW+ is a great source of knowledge and inspiration.I have always run, ever since I was a small kid. Now it’s become part of my identity , a core pillar of my fitness regime and a wonderful way to see the world.As I travel a lot, I don’t have a set running route.
