The club are now looking to rebuild their clubhouse, and make sense of the 'mindless and senseless' act of vandalism
Blackpool RUFC was alerted to the break-in by a dog walker on February 15. The break-in has left the club with substantial damage, to the furniture, TVs sentimental trophies and even memorial displays for players who have died.

This was a mindless and senseless act that had caused damage not only of a significant monetary value but also of a sentimental nature.
"All of our efforts now will be focused on cleaning up the club to the best of our ability so that we can fulfil our league fixture on Saturday vs Burnley. We will be setting up a go fund me page as we look to try and recoup some of the cost of the damage and begin to repair the clubhouse. "Obviously our focus is now to clean up the club as we have home games coming up that represent important income opportunities for the club. All income is important to us as we are a small club who run off the membership."
