lead Ruby Rose has taken to Instagram stories to upload her claims about why she suddenly left the CW’s franchise after one season. On Wednesday morning, Ruby posted a series of stories that alleges serious on-set abuse, citing unsafe and hostile working conditions as the reasons why she left.
Her first allegations centered around former Warner Bros. Television chief Peter Roth, who Rose claimed hired a private investigator to investigate her . Rose claimed that Roth had young women steam his pants “around [his] crotch” while he was wearing them. Roth, a longtime media executive who has worked at Fox and ABC, recentlyBack in 2019, Rose was injured while filming stunts for. On her Instagram Story this morning, Rose shared audio from an apparent conversation between her and her doctor.
She then shared the video of the procedure she had shared in 2019, saying she went back to work just 10 days after the surgery. Rose alleged Roth told her she would be costing the studio millions and endangering the jobs of the cast and crew if she didn't return to work at that time . "Imagine having to take a pay cut to play a passion project and being so excited about Comic-Con and then being told they would not adjust the schedule so I could attend... but then saying 'we won't announce it, you have to,'" she wrote.
