Royal Mail would post an adjusted operating loss of around £350 million this year because of the strike disruption, International Distributions Services forecast.
It said there could be more job losses at Royal Mail, its UK business, if strikes went ahead during the holiday period. Simon Thompson, CEO, Royal Mail, said: "This is a very sad day.
