Houston's Rooftop Cinema Club is getting an upgrade. The outdoor movie theater, located in Houston's Uptown district, is adding a second screen to the rooftop.
Houston is the first of its eight cities to get an additional screen. It is scheduled to debut March 2.
The new screen will be a Digital Cinema Package, or DCP, projector, the digital equivalent of a 35mm movie print. Movies on that screen will start after sundown and include newer releases that are still in theaters. Tickets are, and the lineup includes the camp horror hit"M3GAN" and the BFF football comedy"80 for Brady."
Screen 2 includes 186 seats, with similar seating to Screen 1. The Rooftop's lounge has also been revamped.
