Rio Ferdinand doesn’t think Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Manchester United in the summer – even if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
The Red Devils icon did admit though his former teammate will find it strange not hearing the famous anthem on a Tuesday or Wednesday night if they finish outside the top four.Ferdinand’s words is music to the Man United fans who will be desperate to see their number seven stay for one more year Ferdinand played alongside Ronaldo at Old Trafford between 2003 and 2009 when they were one of the most fearsome teams in Europe.Now though, the 20-time league winners are a considerable distance from reaching those same heights, and will now goRonaldo, who rejoined Man United in the summer of 2021 will be far from happy with the state his current side are in.at the end of this season if they failed to qualify for Europe’s premier competition.
