Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) juxtaposed the differences in treatment of former President Donald Trump and first son Hunter Biden by law enforcement.
Flagging was he described as a"multiple-tier system of justice," Johnson argued that the first son has enjoyed"kid-glove treatment" while contending that Trump has weathered"politicized prosecution" from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
"This is obviously politicized prosecution of President Trump. You saw the way the news media handled January 6 committee ... all kinds of praise for that completely partisan effort. And then legitimate oversight that the House is doing — now that's termed as highly politicized by the mainstream media," Johnson bemoaned."It's not a fair fight. It's not a level playing field.
Recently, Republicans on the House Oversight Committee disclosed that they acquired financial records showing that Hunter Biden, Jim Biden, and Hallie Biden, widow of the late Beau Biden, were paid by Hunter's associate Rob Walker via Chinese energy firm CEFC. President Joe Biden denied that report.
