The Saints looked to have claimed a point at Parkhead until Celtic produced a late winner.
Stephen Robinson had nothing but admiration for his battling Buddies after pushing league leaders Celtic all the way on their home patch.
Despite leaving Glasgow empty-handed, Buddies boss Robinson heaped praise on his squad for giving Brendan Rodgers’ men such a tough shift. “We got beat by quality but in terms of where we want to go and what we’re trying to achieve, it was a big statement in terms of performance.” The Paisley side looked on course to earn at least a point after hanging tough in the second half but were eventually denied by Oh, who fired in emphatically late on to deny the Saints a point.
